I saw a similar dynamic under Obama, when he leveled Libya and invaded Syria, turns out neither blue maga or red maga have any beliefs beyond that their side is the good one. The most bloodthirsty conservative will accept and even support peace when their guy does it, and the average liberal will justify mass slaughter of foreigners when their guy does it.

But also it’s weird that you’re criticizing Trump for not increasing hostilities with North Korea and Russia (or Iran, god knows he tried to escalate things). Those are objectively good things. Things trump did entirely by accident mind you, but still good nonetheless.

Edit: So are the people downvoting this salty about bringing up blood baths committed under team blue? I’m sure just like the genocide in gaza, it doesn’t actually reflect the democrats values or there were/are very good reasons for it. Gonna assume that it’s not team red aghast that I don’t believe Trump actually supports peace.

It’s wild that modern day American conservatives are suddenly really OK with their Dear Leader buddying up to North Korea, and also downright fans of Russia.

Are you trying to say Trump being slightly less hostile towards those countries wasn’t a bad thing?
