Near-zero growth has crushed living standards across the EU, sending voters towards populist demagogues. But they have no solutions to offer, says former UK PM Gordon Brown
The wave never ended in pastapizzaland, we had one (1) vaguely succdem government but then covid happened and libs fearmongered about their classic budgeting and “who is going to pay for this” bullshit only because the govt did the sensible decision to close everything and quarantine right after covid started (so they were still better than the US😩) then the most hated politician in Italy (a lib ghoul, Renzi) single-handedly made the government fall, and we had a year and a half of “emergency government” with the old EU central bank director as an unelected half-president (you can imagine the austerity, lol)
aside from these 2 short interruptions, we only had right-wing govts since 2017. At least the old “lega” right-wing govt was funnier than this shitshow.
