Well in an ideal world we’d outlaw private gun ownership, making all guns collectively owned and regulated by the communal armory. If someone needs a gun they need to explain why to the elected quartermaster, have all the necessary permits and paperwork and training, and be subject to inspection. Literally a “well regulated militia”

That’s not practical at the moment, though, so just disarming this fucked up country is probably the only option. A gun buyback program with a very generous payout, combined with a much more strict regulatory system.

But that’s not going to happen. We’ll just have mass shootings every day forever. 🇺🇸
