I feel ya. They technically are doing their jobs. Their job is to try as hard as they can to screw you over so that their bosses can buy a fifth house and yacht in the Caman Islands. And those Dexcom G6s just seem like a totally unnecessary expense when you can just pee on the stick at the Dr office once a week to check your BG levels.
I don’t see how he could have survived. But I hope he did for his sake.
All the time. That and maintenance. I got so much joy from finally having the supplies to change my car oil at home.
We live in a pretty rural area and take a lot of trips on it. We’ve even camped in the back with the seats down. It’s also the first SUV we’ve owned and just love the versatility of it. But that part is true of any SUV.
I absolutely love our 2013 Toyota Highlander Limited. Have a roof rack on it and it’s fantastic at what it does. Just got back from a trip to town with two little ones and a load of lumber on the roof. It’s understated styling is just so pleasing to look at and it’s really comfortable inside with an amazing sound system. Just all around a very enjoyable (albeit boring) car to own.
No liner. Figured it’s designed for holding water for cattle all year round so it should hold up fine for the few summer months we use it. Second season for it and only a few small rust spots where we had some magnets holding hoses.
Toyota Land Cruiser
Agreed. And believe me you, they’ll find a way to screw us all over if we give them half a chance.
Yep. Not much, but with the pump/filter and a little chlorine you can keep the water clear all summer.
We got a 10 ft pool and we didn’t bury it at all. It’s kind of the perfect depth for both kids and adults because as an adult you can sit in it on the bottom with your arms over the side like a hot tub. For little kids, they can reach the bottom so they feel a lot more comfortable. We just got a little Intex pool pump for it and it works fantastic! Once we get it moved into the privacy fence area we’re going to build a little half deck/bench around one corner of it.
Same here. And one in a state that outlaws nudism so the nearest places to go are hours and hours away. 😒
Look into stock tank pools. We really love ours!
Bought a bunch of outdoor furniture and we’re putting up a tall privacy fence so we can have a little nudist oasis in our yard. Going to also move the stock tank pool close to the patio for some skinny dipping. Going to be a good summer. Will probably have some fellow nudists over for a BBQ once it’s done.
I’m full-time WFH and never have to do video (rarely even have a phone call). For me, though, nudity = leasure so I kinda hate working nude. I also can’t go nude outside at my house so I have to put clothes on to go let out our chickens in the morning and it’s just too much bother taking them on and off.
I’d say the Ford (I have a Focus ST) but the lotus would probably have it beat.
Fantastic article! I used to love loitering as a kid/young adult. I should do more of it.
That comment sounds a little bigoted.
So, dumb question but what is exploding-heads? Are they actual Nazis or like far-right wackos and MAGA nuts?
This exactly, except Ibuse a DeWalt. I have found that the brand power tool used has little effect on the taste and extraction, however.
