Honestly I’m keeping my negative review permanent. The game is great and I enjoy it, but besides a temporary back lash I want the sting to stick around to hopefully teach companies about fucking around and finding out.

Ah man that’s a shame. I appreciate the heads up! I guess for now I’ll have to stick with windows unfortunately
One thing I’d like to ask, as someone also starting to get fed up with windows. I know there’s proton and all but how does Linux work with VR? I have an index and nvidia card, and most of my VR is playing digital combat sim (DCS) but I do enjoy playing actual VR games from time to time. Is Linux still decent with those? Or do I have to stick with windows?
I have the same kind of monitor as a portable dual monitor for work, and I’d highly recommend this too.
I would be super interested! Though I’m not sure how to DM from mlem lol
Have you thought about VR? I’d say that’d be the way to go, especially considering a 3x monitor setup would run about the same as an entry VR headset. The big considerations are whether your computer is powerful enough to handle it and how likely you are to get VR sickness though. From my experience after trying VR I don’t think I could ever go back to playing immersive games any other way (sim racing or Digital Combat Sim)
I usually prefer to do whole fruits, but given the difficulty of getting the whole fruits here I may have to cave and go concentrate, especially seeing that I can get both gooseberries and currants in concentrate form online, Thanks for the suggestion :)
Thank you! It certainly is tasty. And yeah, I remember seeing on a Facebook group when someone asked about concentrating soda into a syrup to use in a sour the comments were all saying that’s an awful idea, the follow up post after they did it they mentioned it turned out awesome. Between that and the brewery near me which specializes in candied sours and off the walls things, I’ve gotten a lot of inspiration. Hoping to post more here once life settles down a bit and I can brew more often.
Awesome, thanks for the info! I guess gooseberries and currants are a tiny industry here in the states so it might be tough for me to get some, but I’ve had both when I was in Poland and now I’m starting to think of trying to get some for a beer. Have you ever tried making a gooseberry or currant sour beer?
Huh I didn’t know that. Interesting!
That looks amazing! I’m a beer guy myself but I might have to try making ciders. I don’t often see currants in the states but I might have to try harder. Out of curiosity how many currants did you use?
As someone who smoked a pack a day until last year and switched to an e-cigarette yeah, they can definitely be helpful in quitting. I have a few friends who switched over and slowly lowered the nicotine levels until they had non nicotine and kept it for the oral fixation. Personally I switched just because it’s a lot cheaper, and I don’t have plans to lower nicotine anytime soon, but I’ve even felt better using just the ecig compared to normal smokes.
Yup, similar boat but with planes instead of cars. Most inputs Linux can support on a single usb device is 86 or so, my throttle alone has well over 150 buttons on it. Add in all the stuff for my sim cockpit (probably around 1000 buttons), my haptic feedback chair, and then VR… as much as I’d like to use Linux, I don’t think it’d be possible for the foreseeable future for me to switch.
