Is your goal to only use Linux on the laptop? If so then the ASUS might be a bit of a gamble in terms of all hardware working out of the box. I’m not sure about how well Yogasb work out of the box with Linux, but ThinkPads typically have great compatibility so maybe it would be similar.

Another vote for TeXStudio! For anyone curious to try it out, make sure to enable “Advanced Options” in the settings, it exposes many more options for the editor.
2·2 years agoThere is 0 chance ASUS will support this to the same level that VALVE supports their Steam Deck. Regardless of its hardware strengths, I would be concerned about the longevity of the software and support. It is possible that someone gets SteamOS running on it, but it will most likely not be officially suppported, and the month-to-month experience may vary quite a bit.
I echo this! I haven’t finished it yet but Death Stranding is so much more than what it appears to be on the surface. Really an incredible game.
