Sure, it’s impossible to know with total accuracy what the true number of people is, but based on census data/birth and death rates/immigration and emigration stats, they’ve got a pretty reliable way of calculating an estimate.

TD’s systems are fast and generally solid (compare to Tangerine and their 30 minute Interac e-transfers), but this outage is a real kick in the nuts to many, and I sympathize.
I’m still salty that, 6 years after it was introduced to Canada, TD still refuses to adopt Google Pay. …Heck, I’m still salty for them buying out Canada Trust in 2000
