Oh it does add a lot for me , but stacked up against my needs playing 80% of the time flat screen wins but I think it’s mostly because of how I fly.

I usually fly dcs with full fidelity f18 cockpit but I use external screens and button boxes, so having head tracking + 3 surround screens + external peripherals is my ideal scenario, adding VR to that mix doesn’t work well for me.

Now, if I’m just doing some simple free flights in MSFS , I am much more inclined to use the headset since besides a few cockpit controls it’s mostly looking around and doing acrobatics. On dcs I am constantly checking and fiddling with radar, weapons systems, comms etc , reading numbers and focusing on far out enemies on a whim is easier for me on flat 4k screens

Because there are so many limitations to VR. I have a nice vr headset and a multi monitor configuration like this for flight Sims and racing. 9/10 times unless I’m showing MSFS to someone new, it’s always in a cockpit like this not VR. Vr is cool, but that’s about it. If I want to do any serious technical flying or combat working the systems , it cannot be in VR simple as that (part of this is also me since I get headache after an hour of playing no matter my config or headset)

This right here. Lack of parenting is the issue . And children in school these days , their mental health is ignored and we let kids graduate despite not meeting requirements. No wonder we have such an issue with disrespect, mental health, and intelligence. We are failing a generation and its now starting to catch up

Yeah… especially after hearing the discord moderators response makes whoever wrote this article look particularly bad. I would almost say the article is boerline harassment to the poor discord server moderators who just want to create a space for Australians that they can moderate successfully and safely

Everyone should know, after investigating this further it seems this user is on a two year crusade to smear this discord server for not having a moderators that spoke a random language. They joined while the server was brand new and harassed the only two mods because they required English on the discord for safety and moderation reasons (makes sense , right ?) And this is encouraged by discord of course since you can’t moderate a community you can’t understand. Despite being welcomed, this user started to harass the moderators for not allowing them to speak their naive language. Since they could not moderate that, they declined. As a result, this person is now trying to smear them online. If you want more details read the comment under the article it spells it all out in clear and detailed language.

Not sure why you’re being down voted its literally what happened. If he had not taken patreon money this likely never would have escalated how it did. Nintendo had to make an example, and he made it pretty easy for them to do so…
