Love the concept and presentation on paper. The pessimist in me expects the execution to be akin to Scribblenauts where once you have a practical solution to a problem that’s all you’ll use for 90% of the game. Also tapping through a long list of items instead of typing out the name of one sounds equally awful. I’m hoping it’s better than my assumptions.

After a few longer trips, getting a consistent 120 miles at highway speed before it’s close to dead. No idea how many at street level speeds, but more than plenty.

Yeah, it was a hard read for me in doses of more than a handful of pages at a time. I wish I could have absorbed more of it, but the horrors just kind of wash over you after a while and that’s not the impact I think the material deserved. I just needed to get out of there. The overbearing liberal presence was bad for my mental health and I was exhausted by their constant defense of genocide. Maybe it was always like that, but it felt like it was getting much worse over the last year. I browsed other instances a bit, but Hexbear is much more in line with my political views.

As a recent convert from lemmy.world, I can’t say I wasn’t confused when looking for a new instance.
