Ah, according to this it’s not a policy change but a decision they’ve made for specific developers for specific kinds of content they deem “risky”. And since it’s an artifact of the US’s payments cartel, it is probably a risk you’d be taking anywhere that’s stuck with a similarly prudish payments system. I’m so tired of being stuck with the “lowest common denominator” when this kind of content is perfectly legal in the US.
This is pretty concerning. Don’t think I’ll be buying games of any kind on Itch anymore after getting screwed out of a game Ibought because I didn’t think to archive every version I might ever want. Have adult game developers moved someplace new?
Know any that actually work on Android? I’m using Mitch (from F-Droid) but a lot of games that claim to work on Android are untested and broken. Fortunately most fail pretty early on.
I’ve been using Plex and bittorrent on a Whatbox.ca box in Virginia for a couple years now and haven’t gotten so much as a DMCA notice. I mostly use iptorrents but I do use public torrents when what I want isn’t available there.
I am guessing those are Cockcroft-Walton accelerators and that is the first stage of a larger particle accelerator. The pools on the right might provide some clue. They could be there for cooling or radiation shielding, or both.
