I admittedly need to upgrade! I’ve been using a large microfiber and some cleaning spray from Boundless, along with an anti static carbon fiber vinyl record cleaning brush from Opula. Both seem to do the job well enough, but I don’t think carbon fiber is the best solution for a brush.

I ordered Fidlar’s That’s Life EP from Diggers Factory back in March, with an estimated ship date of May that was eventually pushed back to June. The pricing wasn’t too bad, but the shipping was steep to the US, at around $10. They’ve been good about keeping me updated. Thus far I’ve received emails updating me on the initiation of the project, the masters process before pressing and the initial pressing. This all builds up hype for the actual shipment, which I got a notification on this morning, explaining that my vinyl is finally ready to ship. Very cool. Definitely an atypical ordering experience that reminds me more of participating in a kickstarter than a standard pre-order.
