Well, this is adorable.
No worries! Hope you find the info you’re looking for.
I’ve been able to post on some communities external to feddit.uk but not others. The Apple community on lemmy.world is one I haven’t been able to use. When I hit post on my comment, it hangs. I’m also noticing some communities are totally blank or comments are missing when I view them from within the feddit.uk instance. I’m thinking there’s some federation issues going on.
I think deciding to cut your own hair and really messing it up, even accidentally, is a basically a rite of passage.
I am willing this community to grow. Getting to grips with Lemmy is quite the headache, but I hope people will give it a chance and take traffic away from Reddit long-term. Happy to be here watching it unfold.
A quick google returns this post, hopefully it helps.
My partner says the biscuit one isn’t too bad, he compared it loosely to Assam.
Is it even a UK Lemmy instance if we’re not talking about the weather?
Definitely recommend, especially if you’re into ceramics / crafts in general. The recent seasons from 2020 (I think) onwards are available on channel 4. I’m not sure about the earlier seasons as it was originally on BBC but they don’t seem to be available on iPlayer.
I’m watching Blue Lights for a second time as my partner decided he wanted to give it a go. Glad to see it’s been renewed for another series.
Thanks for setting up a UK based instance Tom. I see that the federation between this instance and communities from external instances seems to be growing now! (I think? Tbh I have no idea what I’m doing but it seemed to be working a minute ago.) Appreciate the work you’re putting into building a new place for us.
I’m from the Derbyshire Dales and my partner is from West London and we’re both team skone, thankfully.
