Reading its a feature of the OLED but not LCD Deck due to having a Low Energy Bluetooth chip. I do recall seeing people asking about the feature for the Deck a few months back. Guess valve delivered.

took me a few moments to figure it out as well.

Been using Decky on my Oled, but I really don’t see much need for me to bother with the Cyro tools.

Decky has numerous ‘must have’ tools that I use quite often.

Cyro - not so much.

Worth it for me - I have a HUGE collection of PC games, and the DECK lets me play them while i am… er… on the couch… yea thats it…

bought a 512 I found on sale on amazon, the 1T was a bit more than i wanted to pay. Then today i saw them on sale on amazon for a lower price by like $10 :) So i ordered another.

So i am getting several of the 512’s and not a 1T.

Of course I also collect retro handhelds and other devices that make use of these sd cards, so eventually when the 1T’s get cheaper, i will upgrade the one in my deck.

I have a small USB switch box, I press a button on it and the mouse and keyboard switch over to the deck.

I also have a Bluetooth keyboard that lets me quickly switch between devices.

I have the deck hooked to a TV so I don’t need to switch the monitor.

there are software solutions as well that let you share keyboard/mouse.

it’s an x86 Linux PC, it can basically do anything a PC can. Boot to desktop mode, and checkout the discover app store.

Mine sticks if I push to the left, while pushing down, but the button is not stuck pressed down, it not registering a press while stuck. So it’s still usable.

I added a protective case which made it a t a bit worse, I think the case is not well made, going to trim the case and play with it for a few more days.

it is slowly wearing in, and not as bad today.

also I use a Decky loader plugin that lets me browse/find/run installed programs under game mode.
