Very cool! I think this will be useful.

One suggestion: the party size and party level fields kinda get lost in the monster filters. I suggest putting those two up to, with some visual separation between them and the filters.

Note that I was viewing on an iPhone, so small mobile UI. There might be better visual separation on a computer.

But this is super cool, and I’ll be checking out the source code later.

What is kenetisist and why are people hyped about it?

If you are running modules from Paizo, then there are two importers to look at:

• Deidril’s Pathfinder 2 PDF Import
• PDF to Foundry Importer

They cover different modules, so which one you use depends on what module you’re running. Both require that you have bought the official PDFs (they look for the watermarks).

I also really like Health Estimate - it makes it so that the players see “badly injured” instead of HP remaining or a health bar.

One word of advice though - go easy on the modules you install. Learn the basics first, then be picky about what you add. An individual module may be fine, but its code may collide with another module and make the whole system unstable in ways that are hard to detect.

When that happens, use the module “Find the culprit” to help narrow things down.

I’ve gotten into PFS via conventions. GenCon Online and PaizoCon in particular. The instructions for signing up tend to be pretty explicit for those events. And there’s a discord channel (a social network program) with people willing to help you in real-time.

Once I found my first game, I just asked (pestered) the GM. He was very helpful and understanding.

But I totally agree with you - getting started is super hard. I’m still working things out. The plus side it everything works on the honor system. The negative side is I’m always worried I’m doing something wrong!
