He explains why in the video, tldw: it radiates heat which cools the exhaust, causing it to sink, and this starts pulling air through the combustion chamber. He calls it an air siphon at one point. Yeah you lose some heat from this, but without that siphon it won’t create the jet furnace in the firebox. Maybe there’s a way to engineer that without metal, I have no idea.

It was great for me, until it wasn’t. Very effective with tolerable GI side effects, but after about 4 months it completely flattened my emotions. No joy, sadness, or anything in between.
GI side effects are among the most common, mainly nausea. I know you don’t wanna lie but consider that most providers wouldn’t question a patient reporting intolerable nausea. They may attempt to mitigate this by ordering ondansetron to be taken 30 min prior. Intolerable headache is a relatively common side effect of this one and would likely go unquestioned as well.
