Ich bin gerade nicht sicher ob der Kommentierer vor dir seinen Post ironisch meinte oder nicht. Ist damit Lego gemeint oder eine weitere Klemmbausteinfirma aus Dänemark? Wenn Lego gemeint ist, sind die ja keine kleine Firma.

I don’t have a horse in this race, but 2007 seems a little outdated, and there even is a wiki page for this exact topic, maybe you could use this for future discussions.

The most prominent example that comes to my mind is Chiquita. Their history is as cruel as it is interesting and it always leaves a bad taste seeing their bananas in my supermarket. Easily one of the most evil companies ever.

Maybe I’m giving the companies here too much credit for thinking ahead, but the more half-hearted Windows Deck clones there are, the more pressure there is on Microsoft to release a proper mobile gaming version of Windows, maybe these companies are banking on it?

Election day was only yesterday, so the exploratory talks for possible coalitions are only just beginning. The party with the second most votes (conservative) had already announced that it does not want to form a coalition with the party “Die Linke” (our leftmost party, this is also the case nationwide) but also not with the fascists. This leaves only a minority government with a center-left party and a new party that has both radical right and radical left issues in its program (if I have understood this new party correctly). But “Die Linke” has already said that it would play along with a minority government, even if it is not part of it, as long as they agree or negotiate on the respective issues.

This is happening right now in Germany. In two of our 16 federal states, the fascist party got around 30% of votes through fear mongering and propaganda. In one of the states, all of the remaining parties would be needed to create a functionable government with a majority, containing the whole spectrum from left to right. I am not sure about the future of this state.

It’s a social news aggregator. I assume the difference is, that this is to follow mainly news, whereas social media is to mainly follow people. In my 10 years of reddit and now Lemmy I never followed any account, I was just there for the niche topics and news aggregation.

I felt really bad don’t liking such a well reviewed game. But in the end gaming is a hobby and I should enjoy it, so I quit after around 6 hours. Maybe some day in the future I will try it again, but right now my life is so stressful, that I don’t have the energy to power through another open world game with collectibles spread across the map. Right now I am really enjoying Steam World Heist 2 and Cult of the Lamb instead.

So langsam reicht es aber auch wieder, jetzt bitte erst mal wieder mindestens 8 Jahre rechte Politik, dann können wir schauen ob wir den großen Zeh noch mal wieder in linke Politik stecken. Wir wollen ja nicht, dass die Leute aufhören nach unten zu treten und anfangen den armen Milliardären ihr hart erschlichenes Vermögen wegzunehmen.

Apotheken auch, Standardkram wie Ibu oder Paracetamol kostet vor Ort gerne auch Mal das sechsfache.

I am aware of how damaging cats are to the ecosystem, but regardless of that, I don’t understand how you can live every day worrying whether the cat will come back or bring some kind of disease home with it. With our indoor cats I have control over what they eat and at most every few years they catch a cold. But nothing serious after 9 years of having indoor cats.

I would recommend Droidify, which uses the fdroid store with a nicer UI.

Abgesehen von schleichenden Prozessen habe ich gestern eine Studie hier gesehen wonach Menschen nicht kontinuierlich altern, sondern einmal mit 44 und dann mit 60 jeweils einen großen Schritt machen was Alterung angeht.
