Yes there is a problem with churches engaging in heresy. I avoid those places. Maybe that issue is bigger than I want to admit or its not a prevalent in my area.

I was raised dogmatic evangelical Christian and I was full into it for a long time. I had several years of atheism out of rebellion now Im something else Im not quite sure. Maybe its still rebellion seeing how these atheist have turned society into a dung heap. I still and always have highly valued the teachings of Jesus and I see value in going to church and helping my kids to learn those same teachings. I also appreciate Buddha and his teachings and anyone else that teaches truth.

A lot of things are about balance. You can go to extremes either way. The answer is to stay centered and grounded and not let your emotions and desires pull you out. I struggle with this every day.
