1 month agoI ended up feeling like there was room to (constructively) criticize Sabine, but this video didn’t do a great job at making the case.
I didn’t watch the video and I’m not all that interested. But I’m also never going to watch Sabine Hossenfelder again, not after she revealed herself to be not just a shill for capitalism like OP said, but also unapologetically transphobic.

It’s refreshing to see the hatred for .world coming from within their house. I’m referring to the comments in the linked thread. It even looks like the mods of the their c/linux comm are talking about moving to another instance. And some people calling the .world mods feds, which wouldn’t surprise me if at least one really was, corralling everyone to their reddit 2.0. Anyway, the thread is ripe for hexbears with lemmy.ml accounts to go in and do a little shit-stirring. I might myself if I weren’t about to crash out.
