I thought they would be too, but honestly it wasn’t that bad. The shades were all different enough to be clear where they belonged. The sky was the only part that was a little tedious, but even that was a slight gradient. All around fun puzzle.

I’m a software engineer working remotely, and this has been my final blocker with moving to Wayland. Most team chat and collaboration apps finally support full screen sharing on Wayland, but the existing implementation is buggy and unreliable.
I’ve wondered the same thing. It’s impressive.

I had this issue about a year ago on my work Ubuntu computer. I think I solved it with Solaar. Sorry that’s not a more confident answer. I hope it’s a good lead for you.
