  • Answer to your questions:

    1. Yes. Steam Deck is a standalone console, not a streaming console, and you can even play many games offline.
    2. Oled version is really better than the Lcd one. You can search a lot of comparison videos between these two devices for more details. I had a lcd one before I get the oled one, so I can say the bigger screen indeed makes some difference, but it should not be the core reason to upgrade lcd from oled version.

    I don’t know about the second hand market so I can’t give you advice on your third question. But a Steam official verified second hand device could be a nice option I think.


  • Cloud saving is a problem due to the differences Windows and Linux. I also have some cloud saving problems in my games, like Elden Ring, Divinity Original Sin 2, Octopath Traveler 2. But still many games don’t have this problem like Witcher3, Sekiro. Anyway so far I haven’t found any solution on this issue, I searched a lot places and times, no solutions so far.
