It isn’t super beginner friendly, but it isn’t as bad as other older MMOs that I have played. If you don’t care about the meta, animation canceling, or things like that it’s really easy to just enjoy the game. Which I found I couldn’t do with WoW.

That and probably playing on steam deck has a lot to do with it.
This sounds amazing, I can’t believe I’ve never heard of it! It goes on the list!
Diving back into ESO. It’s finally got me hooked. I’ve tried to get into it every expansion, and never could, but something clicked this time.
Elder Scrolls Online. I was finally able to get into it, after years of wishing I could like it.
Edit: Also playing on Steamdeck, which may have a hand in my newfound enjoyment.
How is the new update? I would love to get into it but I have trouble with how dated it is sometimes.
