I have actually been really surprised by the amount of anti free speech and anti privacy attitudes that I have seen since joining Lemmy. It seems that a lot of the people that made Reddit the shit hole that it was, are the ones who have been early adopters of Lemmy.
God I miss Voat, that was true free speech with a heavy emphasis on privacy.

Underbart att slippa kontanter till vardags, det är betydligt smidigare och säkrare med kort.
Däremot så är det rent skit ur ett krisberedskaps perspektiv. Vi blir helt beroende av externa aktörer och när dom försvinner eller för problem, så försvinner också våran möjlighet att betala.
Statlig inblandning krävs för att säkerställa säkerheten och beredskapen kring kortbetalningar.
Edit: Glömde att säga att det känns som att man är tillbaka i stenåldern när man är utomlands och butiker eller taxi vägrar kort.
