  • I used to, but now I’ll close a game if I’m in a good spot to close it, and don’t think I’ll want to play it again next time I wake the deck. Most of the time now I just pause the game and put the deck to sleep, one of the big selling points for me was being able to just pause and sleep whenever and come back later. Not all games feature a constant or frequent enough autosave, which can increase tension in some games (i.e. metro exodus on ranger hardcore, and metroid/resident evil needing a save station/typewriter) but makes small play sessions next to impossible, with the deck I don’t need to save and close the game or leave it paused and open sucking massive power on a desktop. I can just hit that little button and come back whenever I feel like it.

  • I’m a first time owner with the LE as of two days ago. It really is super well made, I’ve been chasing portable gaming like this for years, ever since I wished my 3ds could do more. This does it all for me. The customizable buttons, the compatibility with most PC games depending on how hard you try, good screen, decent battery, decent performance, good speakers, good form factor, made by valve. It can emulate the wii for like 8 hours, good luck making a portable wii that runs even half as long.

It’s been an hour, how has your experience been with out of the box setup and your first games with it?
