I always envy people who manage to get nice close-up shots of a bunny. Nice job!
the bunny answer to the longcat meme
Makes me think of weaponry which immediately makes my brain go to this Skyrim mod called Don’t Kill Bunnies.
Bunnies now have an ungodly amount of health and will shoot fireballs at anyone who attacks them.
Link posts to tutorials for it, perhaps?
Lesson learned on trying to mod !bunnies@lemmy.world: Mbin accounts do not play nice with dealing with reports, or changing the sidebar or logo of a community on Lemmy. Lemmy accounts will not play nice with dealing with reports (I forget if they let you change sidebar or logo) unless your Lemmy account is on the same instance as the community. I now have a lemmy.world account, very clearly branded as Elevator7009sAlt.
!otomegames@kbin.run now has a couple subscribers which is nice. Trying to figure out how it talking to Mastodon works out. Recently discovered that when I explicitly make a for-Mastodon post on Mbin/Kbin by hitting “Add new post”, it also federates to Lemmy… with the first few words as the title. Imagine a Tweet as a thread, with the first few words as the title… yeah, not nice. Have to keep that in mind. Also, link posts I make federate out to Mastodon but any text I put in the body gets wiped which is just sad. The title gets posted twice, once alone and once with the hashtags next to it. I cannot even link to the link post on Mastodon to demonstrate this. All options that might give me the link, even one that looks like a link to the Mastodon post, instead sends you to the Steam page I linked in the link post. Also saw that marking spoilers does not work on Mastodon. Wondering whether I should quit trying to play nice with Mastodon and stop having the magazine tagged. Probably.
My eyes went straight to the grass the bun is eating, probably because in this timelapse it is flickering about like mad. I really expected more of that grass to disappear into the bunny’s mouth than it actually did.
EDIT: this is actually real time, guess I need to get outside and process grass more
Oh, that’s true, good point. My thinking is that the Fediverse is small and some players do convert to trying to dev themselves.
You might also want to advertise this in the Visual Novel communities on the Fediverse!
Happy to find someone who shares my opinion, I firmly believe wild bunnies are cuter than domestic ones. Your friend has two wild bunnies or two domestic ones?
That’s clever. Given the spoken nature of a Dungeons & Dragons session, a DM could just meme by naming a character literally the English word “barnacles” but by pronouncing it as “barn” + “uh” + “cleese” (to rhyme with “please”) I imagine people would not think of that word.
I also read a lot as a kid and to this day, I prefer it to video or audio-based content delivery. So I also mispronounce things, especially if they are not words that would come up in daily conversation.
The “primer” thing is something I just learned from you, verified with Merriam-Webster, and I am not happy about it because a primer primes you to learn about the subject, so I always thought it was said like “prime” + “er”…
What!?
I’ve been saying “gi-ahs”…
You’ve posted quite a lot of bunny content! I appreciate it!
Thank you, I appreciate it!
Just in case you mean by “to get you started” that no posts are showing—you might want to check straight at https://kbin.run/m/otomegames. If nobody has subscribed to this community/magazine from your instance before, it’ll either appear totally empty, or it’ll only show a few posts, not sure which, when viewed from your instance, regardless of how many posts the community/magazine has. (If it was subscribed to by at least one person on your instance, and then at some point in time later nobody on your instance subscribes to it, it’ll stop receiving any updates until at least one person subscribes again. The posts from the period when nobody subscribed will be missing.)
!automation_games@feddit.de. Desperately needs more posts than just Factorio. I am sadly unqualified for that as I am very interested in the genre but have not yet actually played games in it yet.
This has been my primary summer game, although I admit what with the seasons changing in game I am now in winter while being hot indoors. Was going through responses to see if anyone brought up Stardew.
I’m not saying this to crap on your community—I’m just genuinely curious. Why make a community that’s just an RSS feed when I can just subscribe to the RSS feed of the website?
