Hell yeah buddy, that rules! I’ve been painting mine for a few weeks now and had similar experiences. I keep expecting weird looks or pushback, but so far only compliments. As a guy who has always dressed drab and frumpy and tried to not be perceived physically my entire life, it’s been legitimately confusing when people say “cool color!” to me out of nowhere lol

I got another compliment on my nails today, this time from a cool goth lady. Every time I text my Dr. Partner to tell them someone appreciates their work

Ok fair, but Cisco has the most buttery smooth voice around! Not trying to convince you to like something you don’t, just have to go to bat for the guy

Sort of tangential but: how is the only food item I buy that isn’t shrinkflated peanut butter that I have to stir?! Every other product is in a huge container mostly empty and full of air to convince you you’re buying more. BUT the fucking peanut butter is filled right to the brim so when I go to stir it, it spills everywhere because I suck at stirring

I hope this spurs him to really start writing stuff down now. Because I totally get that it’s tough to be on a mic, but if he can take his time and edit and really get into his thoughts on whatever time frame works for him the result is sure to be absolute fire

It’s Thursday, so my lovely Dr. Partner and I are painting my nails for the weekend once more! We’ve been applying on Thursday because I don’t see anyone at work on Friday or Monday so I can go 4 days with adorable nails and not have to catch shit at work for it. Going for mint green on my fingers and light blue and yellow on the toes this time around.

It’s only been a couple of weeks, but I really really enjoy having vibrant awesome nails! I miss them during the midweek when I have to strip them off, and I am super excited to get them painted again towards the weekend

It doesn’t eliminate PFAS chemicals though

The entire watershed of the town I grew up in has contaminated water from a DuPont plant, provably going back to the 80s. Discovered about a decade ago, absolutely no government action done to mitigate it. For a year or two after the proof came out the county provided free water bottles, then literally nothing. Several hundred thousand people are daily drinking contaminated water out of taps that cannot be remedied at the point of use and the state and local government just continues to shrug
