  • Paid for schools sell themselves to parents with their exam results more than anything else.

They may have a lot of equipment and resources that state schools don’t have, but it’s pretty irrelevant if they don’t have grades to back it up. Paid for schools I’m familiar with will often measure their results by what percentage of pupils are successful Oxbridge candidates, particularly if they’re studying classics.

The gimmicks such as laser cutters, 3d printers, green screens, recording studios, gym and sports facilities, personal laptops, art supplies etc etc. are pretty good for pupils who were never going to be accepted to a highest level university regardless of education. So you have selling points for higher and lower ability pupils.

I believe organic chicken requires them not to be pumped with antibiotics; at least in my county.

This means farms literally cannot keep them in as horrible and cramped conditions because the risk of disease could wipe them out.

I’m not an organic nut, but I do buy organic chicken/eggs or go without.

  • [[Aminatou, the Fateshifter]] is really fun. Her +1 can help filter with a shuffle effect after, set up miracle cards, or just give you a peek for low investment. Her -1 can target any permanent, which is nuts. Use a - ability on a Planeswalkers then flicker and use a + ability, ramp with [[Solemn Simulacrum]] or any other good ETB creature effects, [[Act of Authority]] and [[Disinformation Campaign]] for value. And her ultimate can be really fun too, especially after a boardwide flicker to keep your own creatures.

She gets even more nuts with[[Resourceful Defense]] and [[Oath of Teferi]].

My favorite backbone to a good stuff Esper control toolbox deck.
