  • I was prepared to shit on it, but it’s actually much better than I remember SNL being. Spelling out the garbage truck joke sucked, and I had no idea that was supposed to be Doug for most of the skit, he seemed like just a CNN host. also, the Joe Biden lines weren’t that funny, but otherwise, alright cold open. I think they did like 4 years of cold opens with that cross-dressing Lindsey graham character, it’s good to be past that.

  • Think of the election as a Bus route from source, S, to Target, T. a directed graph G=(V,E), where V is the set of vertices (nodes) and E is the set of edges. Each edge (i,j)∈E has an associated non-negative cost (or length) cij

    Let xij be a binary variable that equals 1 if edge (i,j) is included in the shortest path, and 0 otherwise.

    Minimize ∑_(i,j)∈E [cijxij]

    Subject to:

    ∑_j:(s,j)∈E[xsj]−∑_i:(i,s)∈E [xis]=1

    ∑_i:(i,t)∈E [xit]−∑_j:(t,j)∈E [xtj]=−1

    ∑_i:(i,k)∈E [xik]−∑_j:(k,j)∈E [xkj]=0∀k∈V∖{s,t}

    xij∈{0,1}∀(i,j)∈E

  • How is there this huge disconnect between the soc dems who see Biden and Kamala as immensely successful leaders making slow but meaningful if not measurable progress even with the deck stacked against them, to socialists who see they’re tirelessly strangling out any hope for the future? maybe it’s less a difference in perception, but the libs actually identify as beneficiaries of class structure and hegemony, therefore the brutality the democrats enable is welcomed by them? I wouldn’t even say it’s a subconcious appreciation for it, I would say it’s it’s charitableness on our part that we don’t perceive their statements of support as the violent declarations they are. It can’t be unusual therefore that “libs get scratched” (i.e. , they read something that annoys them) and the resulting off the cuff tirade is that it needs to be solved by a militia mowing down protestors.
