      The program linked to above is what I’m looking for. It manages the installation of chess engines, which can be a tedious process. It’s an essential tool, but not easy to find.

    I think, this is what you are looking for: https://dbree.org/v/616a60 UCI 3.3.3 give it a try to handle many uci engines which are no longer on your computer and you can edit the parameters. Very helpful.
