“How to get my enums to l(oop?)”
idk seems pretty normal for a programmer
“enums” == “mum” -> true
The real joke is how neurodivergent peeps who are good at repetitive tasks are weird because they try so hard to fit in. /s.
The (cruel) joke is how we embraced bullies of many stripes (and then got mad about assertive behavior) to see who knew the difference for profit.
Yeah me. During the pandemic I became super productive because I could close the door on my home office and concentrate on just getting something built, tested, and shipped. Now our corpo overlords believe that we can’t be productive from home and have mandated an x-days/wk in the office. We call these ‘code review days’ but they’re essentially lost hours to the company because we’re all like this on my team. But the office is nice and occupied.
Same, working from home increased my productivity by a ridiculous amount. I get to sleep more, I take care of chores during my lunch, I eat and drink better, I don’t have people talking at me all day, I have better equipment at home, a comfier setup, etc. I have sod all self control and will banter with people endlessly in the office but, left alone, I will just work non-stop, taking breaks when I feel my brain starting to burn out. I get more done in a day than most get done in a week.
I love working from home and if they ever drag me back to the office, I intend to be an insufferable prick from clock-in to clock-out.
I don’t know anybody like that…
That means it’s you /j
No, but for real, that was blatant sarcasm.
Go on…
Well, if you have Session I’d be happy to talk about important things like FOSS, ETOW, Yerba Mate, Monero, etc. For as long as you’ll listen. Just send me your ID.
Knew a guy like that at work, but he wasn’t self-aware enough to realize it. He would take hours of one of our people. When someone finally said something to him, he got all bent out of shape about it, and would walk by with friends while making comments about “he’s not allowed to talk to <coworker> any more”.
Still, our coworker was better off, so overall it was a win. She didn’t really want to talk to him that much either.
