All of reddit’s newer design is the definition of asshole design. Once old.reddit.com is killed off the site will be as unusable as X or TikTok is on web for logged out users.
I’m kinda surprised they didn’t already kill old.reddit just like they killed 3rd party apps.
My guess is that they’re taking it one hostile decision at a time to ease people into accepting the new normals.
