Even though it hasn’t received an update in several years, Ubooquity is still a very good option.
I emailed the developer and asked him to open source the project, but he swore he’s working on a new version. Whether that’s true or not remains to be seen.
The Kuboo app for android is a very nice mobile reader for Ubooquity. The alternatives like Kavita and Komga still don’t compete in my opinion, and I’ve tried them both extensively in my efforts to ditch Ubooquity.
