Got my account, logged in and navigated the website at least once every two or three days to get a lay of the land before doing anything with it, still got deleted. At least I assume that’s what happened.

Ninja Central went paid only, all free accounts have been deleted, even if it was once paid in the past.
New accounts are now 14days trials.
Huh. That was not clear on the page at the time, which I cannot see now. I’m positive it said non-VIP accounts needed to be logged in and navigated at least once every 14 days to stay valid, but oh well. Thanks for the explanation.
