Israel recognises gay marriage officially, being gay is strictly illegal in all Arab countries. Debate me if you want but if you had to choose any street corner in the middle east to announce your coming out publicly, you’d be a moron if you tried it anywhere other than Israel.
Yeah - it’s undoubtedly a good thing that Israel doesn’t execute people for being gay.
Since with the way they do things, they wouldn’t just execute gay people. They’d execute anyone who happens to live anywhere in the vicinity of a gay person. And then blame it on the gay person.
And you’d defend them.
What are they supposed to do? Start an amnesty international letter writing campaign? Please free our people Hamas 🙏

Don’t get me wrong I think Israel’s response is terrible, but it wouldn’t have happened at all without Hamas kidnapping or killing a whole lot of innocent civilians.
It wouldn’t have happened if Israel weren’t looking for an excuse to follow their myopic bloodlust.
