Beeper has announced they are pivoting from being a company that hosts your messages and bridges to instead delivering an app that will directly connect to each of your messaging services, similar to how Texts.com works. The new app is currently only available for Android, with other platforms coming later.
What are your thoughts on this pivot?
Do you have a source for where they said Beeper Cloud would be phased out?
My understanding is they would continue to develop both and Beeper Mini seems to be designed to function as a companion app alongside it although it can be used independently.
My guess was that they would use Beeper Mini to roll out paid features and continue to support both.
