I bought my Steam Deck back in June 2023. Last night, it pretty much bricked. I got a black screen while playing and the unit died. I plugged it in for a few hours and left it. I came back and it wouldn’t turn on fully. I’ve only ever used the charger it came with. The fans will run cold and it’ll beep, but nothing else happens. I tried all the reset instructions I found on this sub and the Steam Deck support forum but nothing worked.

How likely is Steam to replace my Deck or am I fucked? I already submitted a customer support ticket, but I’m assuming they’re only open M-F because no one has answered yet.

The warranty claims up to a year so you should be fine, I haven’t had many issues if any with Steam support.
