    If the government wants to curtail foreign control in markets then it needs to open business under its control in those markets. Otherwise state owned and controlled companies have an advantage over free market companies as their intention is dispersion of quality product while the free market company seeks only maximum money

      That sounds like an oversimplification of why certain car manufacturers are successful. There are many state supported car makes from the likes of Proton (Malaysia) Maruti (India) Holden (Australia) that are not very successfull outside of their home market.

        Holden has been gone for a few years now. Also it hadn’t been made in Australia for longer. It was really only a regional brand made by GM
