Does anyone have an issue where the Switch Pro controller drops connection to the deck?

I just got the 512 OLED (I’m new to the steam deck in general). And the steam deck official dock.

I connected to my TV with HDMI and was playing Spider-Man remastered. The controller kept dropping connection and I wonder if I have a weird setting I need to change.

Is my deck becoming inactive and thinking I’m not playing because there is no action on the deck buttons itself?

I also have a PowerA switch controller I haven’t tested yet.

I’m looking into buying the 8bit duo ultimate to have another controller that can go between my Switch and Steam Deck - but I don’t want to get it if I keep having Switch controller related issues.

    It’s a recent common issue, best advice is to switch off rumble on the controller.

    Also, the latest 3.5 update was meant to solve this issue but people on here constantly report issues. I hope the rumble off suggestion helps.
