I just got my Steam Deck in the mail and I think I might be in over my head. I purchased madden 23 on the steam store on my deck and can not get it to play at all. I’ve tried different videos of downloading the EA app but once I have the app, it still won’t let me access the game. I’ve also tired Lutris and Heric with no luck. At this point I’m desperate and need help. I’ll be answering questions below!

    A good place to start (aside from steam itself) is to search on the protondb site. This will provide a good bit of details regarding the games functionality and caveats. https://www.protondb.com/app/1760250

    You can go through the motions with different proton versions or lutris, but it would help people diagnose if you can explain what has been done and how far you’ve gotten.
