So as the title says, I just got a Steam Deck. I got it lightly used from a friend. It is a 256gb model and came with a 512gb SD card.

Is there anything I should know about it? I don’t know how or where to start tweaking settings. The only games I have currently are AC Odyssey and Assassin’s Creed, FEAR, FEAR 2 and FEAR 3.

Are games able to play right away after downloading or do I need to make adjustments to settings to get them to run?

Any other info would be great.
