Well we can add me to the people who got the LE and have a dead pixel. Really sucks after waiting almost 2 weeks for it to arrive.

I know we’ve heard this a lot over the last week! But I just want to thank people for raising the issue, providing links to pixel checkers so I didn’t have to google and for all of the comments saying to return and not stand for a dead pixel on this new machine (I’ll admit I was close to just saying fuck it and keeping it last night but you all helped keep me in check)

I’ve submitted a support request so now it’s back to the waiting game for another few weeks. Hopefully their LE pool is still big for all of these swaps/returns

Still using my LCD and on the old 3.4 OS. Was briefly entertaining the thought of going OLED but after all the horror stories, both hardware and software related, think I’ll stay in the past… For now.

Yeah, I will wait until the OLEDs are sold refurbished. Hopefully their Thorough Inspection will catch these defects. And even if mine does come with rattling buttons or something, the money saved will offset.

Don’t know why you’re being downvoted. I’m also sticking with my LCD day one deck, it’s as amazing as it always was. The seeming elitism amongst those who bought an OLED deck is lame, saying the LCD deck is the worst screen they’ve ever seen, bogus. It’s so overhyped. Say what you will, but I’ve never had to RMA my deck for any issues.

Looking forward to the next version of Steam Deck.

Yah. LCD deck is still awesome. Especially with the colour update.

I installed Zelda last night on my OLED and honestly I didn’t see much difference between it and my LCD.

Games that support HDR do look nice though
