Do not roast me lol. I just ordered my steam deck. Waiting for it to arrive in mail. Do yall recommend doing the windows install or no? Secondly what good shooter games are there ?

    Windows is useful if you want to play Online Multiplayer games with Anti-cheat. It also makes it easier if you wanna install games outside of Steam.

    I’ve used Windows for about 6 months on my Deck. It’s ok. But I wouldn’t recommend it if you don’t want to play those anti-cheat games. The experience on SteamOS is just much nicer. Besides the system is regularly updated and there’s Shader Pre-Cache for Steam games. Windows barely receives any driver updates.
