I just received my steam deck yesterday and I finally got into desktop mode to download decky and I can’t even install a browser at Firefox doesn’t wanna work, and so I start exploring and see the batter sits at 94% health is there a reason for this, shouldn’t it be 99% or 100% like a normal battery as it was just built?

    Battery health is not accurate and it’s only an estimate. Use it for awhile and check back, or better yet just do what I do and don’t worry about it unless the decks battery is only lasting you 30 minutes to an hour.

    My phone that’s 3 years old stores about 94% of its original capacity, the deck is newer and batteries have become much more reliable over the last 10 years or so.
