For shooter games I want to use the right stick to look around most of the time, but I’d like to be able to hold one of the back buttons to swap over to gyro input for a little more precision.

Does anyone know how to set this up / have a tutorial online showing it?

I know you can have it set to when your thumb is simply on the right stick but I don’t want this as it is active all the time.

    Press the [Steam Button] > [YOUR APP NAME] > Controller Settings > Controller Settings > Edit Layout > [Gyro] tab > Gyro Behaviour > [GEAR ICON] > Gyro Activation Button > [Select the Method]; ie. in this case one of the back buttons (L4, L5, R5, R5).

      Cheers mate, I’ll this a go in a second. Do you reckon this will activate the gyro when held or will it toggle the gyro?
