So whenever I remote play, my steam button and … button do nothing, or, well they act as if the menus appear, but they don’t. It stops input to whatever game I am playing until I press the button again. Was expecting it to open the steam overlay or something, but nothing happens.

The performance overlay also isn’t working, not a big deal, but it’s nice for seeing battery and the time. Anybody know how to fix this or if I just have to live with it? Sorry if anything is unclear.

I’m having this issue as well. On both PC and Deck I’m using the beta updates/client, so perhaps that’s it? Not sure. I’ll let you know if I find a fix.

I am running the stable updates, and it’s been like that for quite a while. Thanks for keeping me updated

I’m having the same issue. Running the stable/release branches on both the PC and Deck (OLED) Steam clients.

Occasionally when I first start streaming I can get the “…” overlay to show briefly… but if I navigate around it will disappear, never to return again for the remainder of the streaming session. (Though, I do also see the same behavior where the little sound will play indicating the overlay has popped up and control will be taken away until pressed again, but nothing will appear visually on the screen.)

Does Valve read through these, or is there a place we can submit our observations for them to add to the bug backlog…?
