I’ve had my steam deck for a few days and at first everything worked fine but as of yesterday it no longer connects to any wifi. I tried multiple different networks but no luck. It will still work with a wired connection. When I go to desktop mode it says “No secrets found”. I’ve been going through Google searches and old Reddit posts without any success. I tried the developer mode WiFi power saving trick but that didn’t help either. Any advice would be greatly appreciated. System is on the latest software.

You could try a factory reset, if that doesn’t fix it then it’s either a hardware issue with the deck or something up with your router. Hopefully a reset solves the issue!

God I had this issue it was annoying as hell.

I had to force the deck to only use 2.5ghz over the 5g, in the wifi settings. It’s a problem with some routers I think, I couldn’t figure out how to change the router but this worked as a band-aid fix.

Thanks, I was able to adjust my router to allow me to manually select between 2.4 and 5ghz. Moving to 2.4 fixed it but annoyed that I can’t use 5ghz.

I fixed my issue by 1. Enabling ipv6 in my router configuration, and 2. Enabling/forcing ipv6 in my wifi connection settings on steam deck’s desktop mode

I saw in steam forums people saying setting their clock to 24hr fixed it but I couldn’t tell you why
