I am very picky about clothing and I gained quite a bit of weight so I need to go through the horrifying task of buying a new wardrobe.

My fellow chubby bunnies, where do you buy ethical/somewhat affordable plus sized clothes in (more or less) dark/solid colors? I’m starting to size out of most of the stores around me.

My usual outfit is a cropped/tiny black band t shirt or ringer shirt, black skinny jeans, black vans or blundstone boots, cropped hoodie, perhaps a flannel. Outside of that when I’m wearing stuff that’s more flashy I go for a “doom metal elf vibe” in terms of jewelry and adornments lol. Corny but I don’t know how else to describe it.

Oof that must be hard! Having to slowly go the online route more and more is so frustrating. I’m super particular about the fit of things and it’s such a crapshoot when you haven’t been able to try it on. I do not have the wearwithal to return stuff either lol

Yeah:/ I hate seeing something I like, especially pants and having it top out at size 32 or something. And usually, once.you get it the plus sizes they end up charging MORE for the same style. It’s bullshit

They charge more for the same style because they require more materials and they usually manufacture smaller runs of the bigger sizes due to a smaller market

Once again el problemo es el capitalismo porky-happy
