No one is impressed by your collection of valueless internet points. Karma removed was one of the shittest things about Reddit.

I’m not trying to impress anyone, I’m showing how involved I was with that site, so it’s apparent that even people who were very active left.

Then just say you were a contributing user for for ten years or whatever. No one cares how well regarded your comments or posts were.

Oh wait! I didn’t realize yall weren’t from my city lol. I think my post ended up in your feed somehow. Mangalore is a coastal city in South India and “kudla” is what the locals call it in Tulu which is one of the local languages here. And “namma” means “our”, so it’s basically “our mangalore/city”.

I created this a while back when the whole reddit shitshow happened and since i never used the official reddit app, I just didn’t bother with it and came to lemmy.

Due to the much smaller amount of content on Lemmy as opposed to Reddit, a lot of people are sorting all communities by new which is probably where your post has been found.

Me too, and I wondered as well, so I searched and found out that Namma Kudla is a 24hr news channel in India. How cool that they made a lemmy community.

I mean, well, I am a Tuluva, I was born in Kudla, and my hometown is to the south of Tulu Nadu. But I’ll probably not be taking part here because I might be unwelcome here - I’m a strong believer of the Tulu Nadu state movement. There’s multiple reason about why I believe in this, but that’s a story for some other time.
