Today I finally got around to installing Docker on a Raspberry Pi 4. I created containers for Portainer, Mealie, and a subscription tracker that I forget the name of. I’ll probably also install containers for CoreDNS and Firefly 3 ( which looks really useful).
This got me wondering… what are some other prebuilt containers that might be interesting or useful in a homelab?
Pihole, home assistant, zwavejs, zigbee2mqtt, mosquito, frigate, diun, unifi, teslamate,
Nginx proxy manager, Heimdall Dashboard, Hedgedoc, Your Spotify, pwpush, unifi controller, dmarc reporting tools, zammad and vailtwarden.
Everything.
Unifi controller, Minecraft server with modpacks, Rook/Ceph for fast replicated NVME storage (NAS with spinners for slow stuff), Emby+Plex in parallel, Home Assistant plus some matter/thread and MQTT services, Grafana+Prometheus to monitor everything, Arr stack, definitely other stuff I can’t think of off the top of my head but could pull out of a Git repo if I wasn’t posting from my phone.
I have the benefit of doing bare metal k8s for my day job though.
Mealie, *arrs, Plex, timetagger, swag for remote access with ssl, nginx with proxy-confs for local access with ssl from swag, urbackup, dozzle, authelia, cloudflared, homarr, paperless
I’m running the *arr stuff for TV and movies, plex, postgres for whatever needs a db, reverse proxy and a video downloader for non-tv content that *arrs cant find like youtube or patreon
