Had experience of this myself. We had a close family member die a couple of years back. He’d kept our family together when my Father nearly died. We were raised different in our family, heart on our sleeves was nothing to be ashamed of. Had a couple of male work colleagues go to my Boss to complain about my “emotional state” and that “he’d fucking lost it, needs to go home!”
