Some people get annoyed at how quickly cats like/trust me. But I don’t give them eye contact and frankly look at them a little disinterested.
A lot of animals are like that. Many, like horses, don’t like touch, unless in very specific settings. All just common sense politeness among most living beings. What’s with these neurotypicals staring at everyone and touching unasked? Weirdos.

There’s an autism YouTuber that starts most of her videos with awkward singing. I just saw it as her cute quirk, but maybe she’s using it to regulate her emotions as well.
